A prayer for the churches of Luton
Companions in Christ, let us pray for the churches of our town and rejoice with our neighbours, held with us in the embrace of God’s love.
May each church prosper in every way; may people come to faith there, and may their witness in the community be clear and attractive.
We pray for our relationships with them as part of the one great church for which Jesus prayed. Bring to our hearts a real desire to think and pray and plan together, so that we may have a larger vision and be able to share the light and love of God in this town.
Amen

Biscot
20th – 21st November is a special weekend for the Biscot churches. Please pray for a successful weekend and closer relationships between us.
Please pray:
-
for St Andrew’s and St Margaret’s churches and their work and witness in the local community;
-
for the joint collection of produce for the homeless outside the Co-op on 20th November, that people will give generously and that the project will have an impact on passers-by;
-
for the Barn Dance at Blenheim on the evening of 20th, that it will be well attended by all churches and by friends and neighbours, and will be enjoyed by all who come;
-
for the joint morning service at St Andrews on 21st and all who will be helping to lead the worship.
