The Blenheim Fellowship Club meets on alternate Tuesdays throughout the year (except for August). The majority of our members are retired, but we welcome anyone who is free on a Tuesday morning.
Our meetings commence at 10.15am with coffee/tea and biscuits, and a lot of lively conversation
as we exchange news and enjoy talking with each other. The formal part of the meeting commences at 10.30 and finishes by 11.45am. Throughout the year we enjoy listening to a variety of speakers on subjects as varied as hedgehogs, Victorian costumes, Iran, Sainsbury’s and the Luton Girls Choir. Sometimes we enjoy in-house meetings when we share memories and holiday reminiscences, and once or twice a year we go on outings to places of interest or garden centres.

At each meeting we have a time of prayer, which gives us an opportunity to remember those of our members who are ill or going through a worrying time. We have our own services at Christmas and Easter, and we are pleased to welcome our minister who joins us to lead the worship.
Summer Outing 2010
On Tuesday, 22nd June, Blenheim Fellowship Club went on their summer outing to Woburn. It was a beautiful sunny day and, after a two mile drive through the deer park, we all gathered in the Duchess’ Tea Room for coffee, cookies and a chat. Some of the group then enjoyed walking through the gardens – some areas of which have been just been redeveloped and replanted this year according to Humphrey Repton’s original plans for the gardens in 1810. Some explored the cobbled alleys and ‘old’ shops of the Antiques centre - some just sat and enjoyed the sunshine! Two, however, rode the mobility scooters (available at no charge) and so were able to explore near and far without getting tired feet and legs – though not without scaring a few walkers on the way! After a leisurely lunch in the Tea Room, and a look at the tempting items in the shop, we all made our way home, giving thanks for another fine and sunny outing.
