Please pray for the children and young people who attend our church and the different activities that take place for them in our church buildings:

For the young people and the leaders of the uniformed youth organisations that meet on our premises: for their safety; that yhey will enjoy all that they do; and for opportunities to develop closer relationships between them and the church;
For the Children and adults who come to the Parent and Toddlers group, and for those who work with them;
For Kids' Club and Kids' Praise as they meet on Sunday Mornings.

Give thanks for all the rich variety of food available to us in this country and for the farmers and those who work to bring us what we eat.

Thank God for the successful gathering of this year's harvest.

Pray for those countries where it is difficult to grow crops because of harsh weather conditions, especially for:

countries already affected by climate change;
people who have lost their harvest to natural disasters such as floods;
scientists who are working to develop high-yield crops and more fertile land;
all working to inprove access to water,

100 million land mines in 75 countries prevent refugees returning home and families farming land.

Pray for places where the harvest has not happened because of conflict:

for people in war zones and countries recovering from war, where land is contaminated or unsafe because of land mines and cluster bombs;
for farmers who have had to abandon their land for safer ground that is less fertile and harder to farm and irrigate;
for the work of BMS World Mission as it helps people rebuild their lives and feed themselves in areas of conflict;
for those who risk their lives clearing the killing fields so that they can be harvest fields again.
